*Relay for Life Wrap: The 2008 Archuleta County Relay for Life event netted over $73,264.63 for the American Cancer Society (ACS).PSAAR’s total was $889.69 with most coming from PSAARopoly; the real estate carnival game that was put together by Lisa and Bill Reeve.THANK YOU LISA AND BILL!!

*In June the CAR Board of Directors past a vote to increase of the 2009 membership dues in the amount of $20.00 annually.The current membership dues are $110.00 and the new dues amount will be $130.00 per year.

*NAR Quadrennial Requirement - All REALTOR® Members are required to complete a REALTOR® Code of Ethics (NAR) course during the four year period that began January 1, 2005 and ends December 31, 2008. Failure to complete the course by that date will result in suspension until course completion, regardless of the status of dues payment. Suspension of services includes all board, state association and NAR dues-based services. The 2.5 hour Quadrennial REALTOR® Ethics Training, the four-hour NAR Ethics and the six-hour Ethical and Professional Practices course meets the NAR requirement.
If you have taken the required NAR Ethics class within this quadrennial period, please submit the appropriate documentation to the PSAAR office no later than September 30, 2008 for placement in your file and to avoid a suspension notice. If you have not taken the required NAR Ethics class, please plan on attending one of the classes listed in the PSAAR 2008 Education Schedule or Click Here to take the course online at the NAR website. Remember to submit documentation to the PSAAR office upon completion of the class.

*PSAAR has available the new 4.1 version of Desktop.
*Slow CREN MLS System: CREN’s software vendor FNIS has informed us that some automated Bots/Scrapers are in use that are designed to pull large amounts of data from their applications web pages. These Bots/Scrapers are generating heavy usage of FNIS’s web servers, resulting in slower performance for other Paragon users. FNIS is working on this issue.
*CREN to discontinue MLS books: The CREN Board of Directors made the decision not to provide MLS Books (monthly or sold) after December 31, 2008, January 2009, quarterly book will be the last book available.

*Date Range: Both the “Begin” and “End” dates are the same.

*Blinking Message Light on a lockbox means the battery is low and needs to be replaced immediately. The PSAAR office has replacement batteries for $5.00 each.
*Blinking Card-Error Light means your card is expired OR you need to set the clock.
*You will need to bring the lockbox into the PSAAR office to fix a broken card stop.

*The Colorado Foreclosure Hotline, which CARHOF is one of its major donors and supporters, is having great success as it has topped the highest call-volume month this past March reaching 3,050 calls. The Foreclosure Counseling Center expects April to exceed the March figures by approximately 1,000 more calls according to Michael Rosser, Co-chair of the Colorado Foreclosure Prevention Task Force. For consumers who have called the Hotline for help counselors have maintained an 80 percent success rate; assisting in four out of five homeowners avoid foreclosure when they meet face to face. If you are facing foreclosure or know of someone who is have them call 877-601-HOPE.
